Page 1 of "Terminator 2" Region 1 From Play247.Com NO METAL SLIP CASE?

I have just received a copy of Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition region 1 from Play247 and was very disappointed with what I received. Instead of getting the special metal slip case I was excitedly expecting all I received was a bent up cardboard silver box edition containing the title.

Does anyone know if Play will accept the title back as a returned one as I wiill not accept this for the price it has cost. Your comments will be most appreciated.

Give them a ring and ask. but I shouldn`t think so as you got what you ordered, unless the site said metal slip case and you got one without.

i got the region 1 version with metal case. Cant understand why they sent you one without.

l got mine from play with metal case. Call, email, send in the troops..

I got one without the limited edition metal case. They did run out of stock and had it on order for about a week so perhaps thier suppliers dont have any anymore with the metal case. I was slightly disappointed but it doesnt really make any difference to the movie though.

All new pressings of T2: UE on R1 will be packaged in the cardboard slipcase rather than the metal one. It is easier to manufacture and distribute than the metal one as a significant number of metal case sets were returned as damaged stock.

Mine had a metal case with a dent in it! But I`m not too fussy as it was the movie I was after.

As someone said - if it says metal case on the website, you should expect to get it. Unless of course it says "limited edition" in which case they can claim it`s run out.

mine version of T2 R1 version has the slip case, i didnt get it from play tho someone got it back from america for a present. i wouldnt like it without the slip case it would look stupid!

only the initial batch of R1 T2s had the metal case...so you`ll need to get one from ebay if that`s what you`re really after
