Page 1 of Playstation 2 Help?

Does anyone know out there whether the PSX2 can use the old joypads from the original Playstation consol, and also whether you can put in the old memory card from the PSX into the PSX2, as I already know you can play PSX games on the new PSX2 system.

you can use the the ps1 controller and memory card but you can only save ps1 games on the ps1 memory card and ps2 games on a ps2 memory card

In general, the PS1 pads can be used, but bear in mind that some PS2 games (e.g. GTA3) expect a Dual Shock 2 and won`t work properly with the old pads.
