RE: [VIDEO] Inside No 9 (Psychoville writers' new show)
This season is absolutely smashing it.
Last but one episode completely as seen from a Ring doorbell was superb and last week's, from inside an escape room had it all. The repeat watch (I always watch them twice) had so many breadcrumbs and clues along the way - all of which I completely missed!
Think that's 55 completely different episodes now - genius.

Last episode tonight 😭😭
Brief article here suggesting it be watched live but I don't think they know really.
Anyone who hasn't seen this before do yourself a favour and watch some, they're standalone, half hour stories and all available on iPlayer.
A good starting point would be S2E2, 12 Days of Christine....

Well, wow, what a glorious, meta, fan-serving finale - staggered how they pulled this off and kept it secret.
Maybe the one episode in the whole 55 where, although anyone could watch it and enjoy it, fans and regulars would have got soooooo much more out of it.
So many Easter eggs, lines and references to previous episodes - from the names of the cocktails to even recreating part of the first ever episode (Sardines) inside a toilet cubicle - even with Tim Key, Katherine Parkinson (or was it Amanda?...) and Anne Reid to Jason Watkins querying the bill - and the wonderful montage with scenes from previous episodes accompanied by the (can never keep a dry eye to this one) 'Time To Say Goodbye' song..
Nick Mohammed was hilarious, everyone played their part
The rumour was this was going to be an episode with just Reece and Steve couldn't have been more wide of the mark, the closing credits an astonishing 'who's who' showing just how keen actors even at the top of their game want to be in this - and to have Robin Askwith in it and finish with the On The Buses spoof that's been asked for for years and teased as a real episode last season was the icing on the cake.
The Telegraph summed it up quite well: "Tucked away on BBC Two, it never quite got the recognition it deserved. Now this criminally underrated show is coming to an end."
9/9, awesome.

RE: [VIDEO] Inside No 9 (Psychoville writers' new show)
Just watched the finale, the definite highlight of what we thought was a pretty drab series, apart from the doorbell, and tube ones which were good.
finale made up for it though, glad it ended on a high, but think it's glad they called it a day as its quality declined last few series, having said that, we still watched it every week knowing the quality they can produce.
will be interesting to see what happens next, police, or busses ;)

I thought it was a great series, even less good episodes are so much better than most of the stuff on TV. It's a program I generally watch twice too - the Escape Room episode was a great example of them giving hints and clues right the way through.
Apparently the finale had references to every single previous episode!

The Party's Over, a behind the scenes documentary filmed during the last season is on at Christmas.
Looking forward to that!
