Just watched Nosedive, interesting stuff, especially with modern celebrity culture, PewDiePie's recent actions etc, was talking to my missus about how a Kardashian would probably "feel" losing 50,000 followers a lot more, than losing $50,000.
Parts of it a bit too close to what's happening right now though, with regards to how ppl can react on twitter, fb et al rather than being in the future :(

Episode 2 : Playtest tonight, again brilliant, so much more scary and intense than most horror films! Brilliantly done, with some subtle, and not so subtle nods to computer games :)

Ep 3 "Shut up and Dance", wow, that was horrible, brilliant, but horrible, subject matter and it's a present day one, with things which are happening in real life :(

Ep 4 "San Junipero" was outstanding, first time missus and I have had an interesting conversation about the program we just watched in a long time! Not in a scary look at what the future may bring kind of way this time, but the implications of reality, virtual reality, AI, afterlife etc
Ep 5 "Men Against Fire" was back to being a worrying look at possible things to come :( The entire propaganda and brainwashing that goes on, partially reminded me of history lessons at school where we saw the German anti Jewish cartoons, and recent events involving immigration, asylum seekers etc :(

So, just watched the last one "Hated in the Nation".
Again really interesting look on how ppl act/react on the internet, and repercussions "on real life", not just the horrible things some ppl write/say in the media, which get spread on the internet, but also the vile comments, tweets, responses ppl make etc, some with, some without thought as to what they're actually saying.
I remember many years ago reading "you shouldn't write in an office email, what you wouldn't shout down the corridor".
I'm glad my outlook on life isn't as bleak as Mr Brooker's seems to be ;)

The funny thing was, a few days after watching that one, my boss had to take his laptop to IT to get it re imaged, as it had something odd on there, he witnessed some-one else controlling it :(
I thought I was behind when I posted my above comments on them, glad I kept them brief in case anyone hadn't watched yet.
