After 2 minutes, and thinking... oh god here we go again... things got very enjoyable not long after!

Clearly the better team, shame there was no VAR for that penalty. :)

Definitely should've been 4.1 assuming Kim would've buried the pen.

Really confident performance which we haven't turned in for a while.

Trophy drought over.
Only 4 years but still...

Frimmy catching the players in the tunnel after the game is worth a watch https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ixhoA0FzzAs

Good win for AWFC last night.
For reasons known only to themselves Liverpool only decided to play the second half. Surprised Zinsberger wasn't off at half time with hypothermia.

They made a better effort then but a fairly easy 2.0 win in the end.

Sporting Lisbon tonight and I really don't know what to expect from them.
Paddy Power reckon 1.1 or a 1.0 win for us.
I think we're capable of better but depending on how much the squad is rotated.

Well that's no more than we deserved.
Should be able to finish that of at the home leg providing we start with a slightly stronger squad.
2.2 thanks to Morita.
Nice of him as his booking means he'll miss the second leg

I only saw the first half, which felt not as flowing as normal due to the change in personnel.

Sounds like I shouldn't go back and watch the second 😂

Wasn't bad and we improved after a few subs but to be fair nobody was atrocious just the likes of Kiwior and Turner in goal were mentioned due to lack of on pitch time.

In the end it will depend how serious we're taking the competition.
Apparently Jesus was playing in the warm down match after Bournemouth so he might even feature on the bench.

At least Jonas picked up on this as the broadcast was atrocious and the fact they don't even have cover over a single camera is awful.

Took a couple of screenshots

It really was that bad and the cameraman's hand appeared regularly trying to wipe the lens even though he/she was obviously also doing it when replays were running as well.

Oh my. Maybe they only had two HD cameras and they had to save them for VAR

No VAR at any Women's WSL match to my knowledge.

At the Boreham Wood Ground, AWFC's home pitch, the single camera has no cover and is sighted so that the near touchline is obscured by, I'm guessing, the roof it stands on. The goal to it's right regularly draws camera flare from the floodlights that end of the pitch.

Only a fan of AWFC or Liverpool FC Women would have put themselves through watching that. If they're trying to grow the women's game that ain't the way to do it.
