By the USADA.

He was one of the most tested athletes the world has seen and has never tested positive.

I hope he is not found guilty. As although I never found him the most exciting of riders. You had to admire what he had achieved.

Lance Armstrong has announced he will no longer fight the drugs charges brought by the USADA.

They have just announced that they are looking for a lifetime ban and to strip all results back to August 1998.

What do you make of this as a long serving fan of cycling? From here it looks like when Michael Jackson pays off a boy taking him to court.

Surely this guy has the money to fight it? Wouldn`t any heavily decorated sportsman who was innocent want to fight this to the bitter end? I guess there could be one who wouldn`t, and maybe this is it.

In my heart I now think he is looking guilty. He has proved over many years he does not give up. Why start now when he has everything to lose. By saying he doesn`t accept the changes and thus wont fight them smacks of trying to Dodge the bullet.

Either that, or he is fed up of the whole thing, and thinks if he does fight, and win, he may just have to go through it all again.

Perhaps he`s got better things to spend his time/money on, and is worried his reputation is damaged enough whether found guilty or not, as some ppl will always say no smoke without fire?

The strange thing is, is that whatever the outcome, it`s a shame.

She doesn`t want to get involved. All she wants to do is have some fun.

His plan of not fighting so not having to face it while still claiming innocence may not work. The USADA plan to make all evidence public.

Well the UCI accepted USADS`s findings and have stripped him of his 7 tour wins. They want his winnings back. Armstrong has removed the tour wins from his Twitter profile. His sponsors are now dropping him and some are looking at litigation to get money back from him.

I heard on the radio today about sponsors wanting money back, and also that the Tour de Frances that he won, will just have "no winner" rather than bumping ppl up the list.

As I said before it`s a shame, no-one comes out good. Assuming he`s guilty, it`s good they caught him, but odd it took so long, his "mafia" style schemes must have been v clever.

It makes the sport look bad, but also a terrible blow for the charities he`s supported etc as well, and all the ppl that have idolised him.
