Page 1 of Anyone used Camerabox?

There`s a camcorder on there I wouldn`t mind purchasing, but I have no experience of using them before. Anyone here used them, and if so are they ok?

I bought a camera from them and had no problems, although the packaging left something to be desired - the manufacturer`s box was just wrapped round with two of those CityLink plastic despatch bags put inside another one. No damage to the contents though, fortunately.

I think that type of packaging is typical isn`t it. They just bung it in a plastic wrap and give it to the courier.

I should perhaps have pointed out that their products are `grey` imports - i.e. they aren`t stock sourced from the official UK distributor, who (probably) won`t honour the manufacturer`s guarantee. This is of course common practice for internet retailers selling at well below high street prices. Camerabox do offer their own 2-year warranty, but never having put it to the test I don`t know how effective that really would be if it came to the crunch.

I thought with their prices that they might be. Thanks for the heads up on it though - will still probably go for it anyway, as long as they do guarantee for 2 years.
