RE: Would you buy from this setup?
I wouldn`t. There is no indication of an address or location anywhere.
They can put as much info about returns and guarantees as they like, but if you can`t get in touch with them in the event of a problem, it doesn`t mean diddly squat.
I think you`re safer sticking with the big names, especially if you want to spend big money on box sets and stuff.
Looking at that site, they`re all `region free` and after looking at the Transformers set (caught my eye as it was on the front page):
Quote:
All DVDs are presented in full screen. Exactly the same as it was shown in American television.
DVD Format: Format-Free DVD-R (Plays in both
PAL and NTSC DVD players)
I guess that`s their subtle way of saying they`re copies. Not sure how they can sell them as Brand New and Sealed though.
RE: Would you buy from this setup?
They`re a well-known bootleg seller. In fact, they actually have/had advertising space on Amazon.com.
They were providing a sought-after service at one point by producing bootlegs of shows that never looked like they`d be released on DVD, but now with cheap authoring, there`s hardly any shows of interest that fit into that category (barring those caught up in rights red tape). They seem to be peddling `complete series` sets of commercially available stuff alongside, which is just bare-faced piracy.
You`re safer with eBay if you`re after that sort of thing.
