Page 1 of Play 247....usually dispatches in 24hours.....you must be joking!!!!!!

I recently ordered "The Rock" (criterion on the 11th november. It says on the website usually dispatches in 24hours........it is now the 14th November and there is no sign of it being dispatched on the order history.

Why do they make these claims, if they can`t keep them?

Send them a snobby e-mail. It has worked for me and others so give it a try. If you want a reply try calling them instead. None of my e-mails to Play have ever been answered but they have had an effect (waited 7 days for 3 titles and an hour after sending my mail all three were in the post).

it seems play are deteriorating, i had loads of probs with my simpsons boxsets and that is when i think it all began

Sent an e-mail and got no reply, so decided to ring them. I eventually got through on the 5th attempt. They said that it had temporarily gone out of stock, but they would be posting it out that night.

I had similar probs, with Swordfish. They seem to be turning things around now aftrer a crap patch. Ordered 2 DVD`s and a Cd since and they`re back to thier 4 day turnround.

Shrek region 1, ordered Monday afternoon, posted Tuesday, dropped through the letterbox this morning.
And we`ve been watching X-files season four for more a week now, while friends in the States have yet to get anything from their local suppliers.

Same as Dave - Shrek received within 48 hours. Maybe they don`t keep large stocks of the less popular DVDs& have to order in...

Git ,I`ve been waiting a week for X-files season4 to arrive from Movietyme. Still, at least it is £15 cheaper than play

Recieved Royle Family 3 from play this morning 2/3 days before its release date, even got their dispatch email this evening telling me it had been posted.

Now thats fast service :)

I ordered Army of Darkness Bootleg Edition, Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke`em High last Monday and I got them last Friday. That`s pretty good when compared against my orders from Amazon.com.
