Is it me or has Play 24/7 become a little slow lately? Before when I`ve ordered in stock DVD`s they been posted the same day, I ordered a "in stock" Clerks SE on the 30th of August and it still says it`s processing. Whats going on?? Also has it been updated recently? Hannibal is still the Pick Of The Week and the competition page remains closed.

Their entire website seems to have gone missing now. Visiting www.play247.com just redirects you to www.play.com containing a message about some company going out of business.
However you can still access the play247 site by going to http://194.193.248.139/
I can still access my account details and everything seems in order, but I am getting very confused as to what is going on...
seems ok now....used my bookmark and it got to the site ok. May have just been a little `downtime` or updating going on. Mind you, I`ve just tried `play.com` and still get to play247. Curiouser and curiouser.....

Well, It does seem so ! I have never had to wait for more than 3 - 4 days even when I ordered `out of stock` items before. But the status of my order for `Carry On Screaming` is unchanged now for a week !! I dont know if they are facing probs for this particular title, but they do seem to have got slower !
As Carry on Screaming is one of the all-time greats of cinema I suspect that demand has outstripped supply by a huge amount and play247 just can`t cope and has had to have a sit down and a quiet sob.
ps. I wasn`t being sarcastic!

I have only ordered two discs from play247 and wasnt thrilled with the speed of service. One disc took round about a week to come and I ordered a disc on Tuesday afternoon and its still at processing just now.Both discs were in stock at time of ordering.
They do have a good reputation and seem good if you have a problem with the discs from what I have heard from others but their delivery time is not the greatest.

ah well, I ordered one yesterday (5th) that, according to their site, wasn`t available until the 10th - checked today and they`ve posted it to me
:-)....probably lucky I suppose.
Yeah, I ordered one on Tuesday, and it`s still processing. Can`t complain though, I`ve always had top noth service from them, so I can cope with a couple of days delay - I`m still happy with them!
They`ve shipped my `Carry on Screaming` yesterday night. I think its fair enough. Play get full points from me !
I got my `Clerks` this morning but it still says processing, so they must have some problem with the site. The service is still the best I know though so despite being a bit slow lately I`ll carry on using them.
