Page 1 of Lovefilm 3 for 1 month offer.

Lovefilm have offered me a 3 months for the price of 1 deal. I used to use them when they were DVDsOnTap and they really weren`t that bad. Is it worth me giving them another chance or have they really gone downhill big time.

So far I have tried most of them and Blockbusters has proven to have the best turnaround and choice.

I got that mail last night.
What have you got to lose really?
I`m giving it a go. Feel guilty actually because my trial with Cinema Paradiso finishes tomorrow and the service has been great.

Reading the various posts regarding Lovefilm`s policy for missing DVDs it sounds quite messy, apparently if a DVD goes missing you have to complete a form and it can take up to several weeks.

I have also been sending them emails regarding the offer and the response has been very slow. A lot of people are saying they never get any replies and have had to get chargebacks through their credit card companies in order to stop Lovefilm taking out money.

3 months for the price of 1 is very tempting, however this bit on the terms and conditions looks a bit suspicious Quote:

They were giving away free DVD Players to the first 50 people who signed up from that email. It probably relates to that..

My Email said "First 50 people to sign up for a month gets 2 months free and if your one of the first 50 a free DVD Player".. none of you get that one?

The `while stocks last` does not relate to the 50 free DVD players. I just got a reply from Lovefilm after 3 days and it confirmed that it relates to the 3 for 1 offer.

I will not be rejoining them. Knowing my luck I`ll rejoin and they will tell me the stocks have run out and they will charge me monthly.

Surely while stocks last means they`re only going to give so many 3 for 1 offers.??.
If you get it you`re OK. I rejoined and my next billing date is 24th June and the top 3 discs have been sent. Less than a fiver a month. Can`t see what the problem is..

I am sure that the `while stocks last` bit refers to the DVD players and not to the two months free.

I got the email on the 22nd and signed up the same day. Sure enough my next billing date is 23rd June. I don`t expect to have won a DVD player :¦ SJ , who also seems to have the free 2 months , by the look of it , signed up again the next day (23rd).
Now even if I was the first to sign up again through this offer (which I`m bloody sure I wasn`t) , it seems highly unlikely that less than 50 people signed on that day , so SJ must have been further down the list than number 50.. As you know , speaking just for those of us who frequent this site , we all would love a free DVD player , even though we all have 1 or 2 (or 3 ....) , it is probably crap and we don`t really expect for one minute that we will get one ;)

I might give them a go then, but I think I will wait until Tuesday as we have a few bank holidays coming up and they do not operate on weekends.

Was you able to check the billing date as soon as you rejoined or did you have to contact them?

Just click `Your account` then `Your terms`.
Follow the link from your e-mail and on the joining screen there should already be a code filled in.

The email I received does not have a link to rejoin?

Do I have to start a new free trial?
