Are Australia ahead of us or behind us in time - wonder whether Fac63`s fantasy delivery could ever actually happen.... ;-)

Hiya

Your not goin to belive this,I too ordered man on the moon on thursday and got it tuesday, but the thing is twenty mins after I placed the order I got a email telling me it had been shipped!
I also ordered being john malkovich (for £10-30 inc delivery) from ab.sound in canada at the same time and that arrived tuesday morning with man on the moon :)
Good service from both I would say
Made me feel a bit better about waiting so long for the dvds from stardvds and by the way I phoned up my credit card company today to see if they had taken the money for my £72 order but they havnt as yet!

i also noticed last night that as id put the dvd was a gift in the ordering comments, on the front of the package theyd put it was a gift and the total price was $75aus which equates to around £25. seeing as the allowance from customs for a gift is 30 odd quid i thought it was good of them to mark down the price so thered be no problems with customs.

Just a little note

Try not to explain the little `wheezes` our fave companies get up to when `being creative` with the importation regulations.

The bods from HMC&E are not so completely daft that they need our help.

Elephant, I think you meant that they had marked the correct value on the outside of the box. (not as implied, reduced the value) The customs declaration on the outside of your pack MUST have been correct, or the sender would be breaking the law.

Just a word to the wise, eh, folks!
