Has anyone used these guys yet. They`re advertising on the reviewer site, but I`ve never heard of them before. Can they be trusted??

HAS ANYONE ORDERED, OR TRIED TO ORDER FROM region1express???

I`ve been trying for the last few days and everytime I try to create an account, I get an error message. Has anyone else tried this retailer and if so, did they successfully order from them?

Not really, but thanks anyway. I decided to risk placing an order with them and got it order yesterday. Order placed on January 4th, received January 11th. Ordered Hot Shots! for £4.45!

Decided to give them another go. Ordered Hot Shots: Part Deux, also for £4.45!

So far so good.

First chance to test their customer service :(

I placed my order for one DVD with them the other day, and the invoice on their website is telling me that I also ordered a CD, which I didn`t, by a group I`ve never heard of.

I`ve emailed them to see what`s going on, and will have to wait and see what their response is and how they are going to handle this.

Having said that, the invoice on their website for my first order suggests that I`d ordered two copies of the same DVD, which I hadn`t.

The site itself is very dodgy:
1. My cart was cleared at least 3 times without any action of mine
2. I got a security warning when I created an account that the name of the site didn`t match the name of the certificate issued
3. The site is now unreachable via the original link I used: http://www.zone1express.com
4. The confirmation e-mail on purchase contains errors.
5. The search functionality has no inteligence what so ever: it gives results for every part of a word you fill in the search field, resulting in lists of hundreds of titles

As of now: I don`t have knowledge about the status of my order.
Overall: I don`t get a good feeling about this retailer.

Have to say I have mixed feelings about this retailer.

I`ve not had a reply to my email sent to their customer service address last night.

My first order was received without hitch and reasonably quickly so I can`t fault them on that.

I agree that the search functionality is stupid.
I got the security warning as well, when I tried to use an Windows XP equipped computer. When I used my Windows 98 equipped computer, there was no security issue at all. Not sure if this means anything though.

More worryingly though is the fact that the site seems to be unreachable today via region1express.com

I now have doubts about this retailer, though I would like to be wrong.
