Anyone used these before?

Considering ordering Star Wars boxed set from them as they have it for £24.99 incld delivery

can`t speak from experience but people over at avforums seem happy with them. some of their prices are very cheap. i`d post a link to the thread in question but i don`t think there is a direct address - search for directdiscs.co.uk in the `bargains + special offers`

Good as their word

Posted the trilogy via recorded delivery last Friday which cost them £3.03 arrived on Monday but wasn`t in so picked it up today.

Can`t be making much on this title at the price they are charging

I ordered the Star Wars trilogy on 22 September, but I still have not received it yet. I have emailed for the status of the order but no reply. I have also tried the phone number they give on the website but no one picks up and I ahve left messages on the voicemail.

I dont know if anybody else has had similar problems.

I was just about to post here with a very similar experience. I ordered Schindler`s List from there on September 15th as it was a bargain £8.99 but my order status has been stuck on "Processing" ever since. The money has been taken from my credit card but so far no DVD. I too have tried repeated emailing and calling to no avail. Their selas[at]ku.oc.scsidtcerid email address also just seems to bounce mail back. I have a bad feeling about this....anyone know anything?

Well,before last week I would have said they were great.I had ordered 3 dvds from and they arrived VERY quickly.

However, on September 13th I ordered the SE of Oasis` Definitely maybe. One week past without being dispatched. I emailed them on the 20th September at about 10pm at night. What was weird I got a response, and not an automated response,from where I sent my email saying that the DVD was dispatched, and this was 10.30pm at night! Was if someone read the email thought "crap", ran down stairs, and popped in a post box! What retailers posts out DVDS at 10.30pm at night??

Anyway, 10 days (9 post days) has past and no sign of the dvd! The email address I tried initally and got a fast response is not responding, and also like someone already mentioned, there is no answer from the phone number!!

It may sound funny, but I really think this company is a very small firm and family ran. And im thinking, and it may sound daft, that they may be on holiday!

I finally got my DVD`s, I had to write a letter to them.

I hope all of the people above got there DVD`s. If not keep trying and Good Luck. I dont think that I will be using them in a hurry in the future.

My Schindler`s List finally showed up this morning, almost a month after ordering - no apology or response of any kind from my emails & phone calls. Weird. Definitely won`t be ordering from them again.
