Page 1 of Problem with PlayUsa.Com

Just tried to order a music DVD from playusa.com but got the following message at the checkout:

Please note that we cannot deliver CDs and Music DVDs to UK addresses, therefore these items have been removed from your basket.

When did they start doing this ?

Thank the enlightened music industry who stopped Play importing cheaper copies of CD`s (and it appears Music DVD`s) from various places to "Protect the music industry" Quite how charging someone £16 for a CD when you CAN get the same one from the Far East LEGITIMATELY (i.e. not a bootleg) for much less is protecting the industry is beyond me.
It`s even worse if the disc you want is a back catalogue disc which paid for its initial recording promotion etc. costs years ago...(Beatles / Floyd albums !)

Note that some people have posted that this includes all music DVDs so My Fair Lady and Cabaret are included in this blanket ban. Covers items whether or not they are available in the UK which means limited selection of KMFDM cds as well :(
