Hey Chuck !!

I have been trying every dvd rental free trial period i can find :)

Choices direct i found brilliant very licka de lick, screen select not bad but sometimes a little slow ( postal strike was half way through my trial so could of slowed stuff down), dvds on tap not bad, although i would send 3 dvds back but they would only post me one on reciept and wait a extra couple of days before posting other two. also they never seemed to have any of my first choice selections, i am now using video island which have so far been very quick, i think most of the companys are on par, go for choices for speed or screen select for best price. i think its 14.99 for 3? after trial period, anyway i intend to try them all until i find the best, hope this essay helps

Try DVDs on Tap, a lot of people swear by them!

i`ve tried:
dvds365.com:2 dvds took a week to get back to them, once forgot to put return envelopes
with dvds.not much choice but i did get daddy day care this week.

screenselect.co.uk:every dvd you could want but sometimes don`t send out fast enough
which is my main concern with dvd rental online.otherwise probably the best.

videoisland:say they have lots of dvds but a lot of them like dirty dozen, cool hand luke,
conversation etc are not available in the uk.sent me wrong dvd and never reply to my emails and not sent me anymore dvds yet.a very poorly run company.anyone else had any problems with these?

dvdsontap for me. Used them for quite a while. Good customer service. Used to be a bit slow at getting the latest releases and the range was not brilliant. They seem to have fixed that now....well impressed.

Gone are the days of having to get of your a**e to go down Blockbuster and get ripped off.

http://www.in-dvds.co.uk have been quite great. Ive been using them for over a year and they send out dvds fast and I usually get them fast. Sometimes they take a while to get the latest titles but they do usually have lots of titles. Their customer service is great and I always get friendly replies within 24 hours. During the recent postal strike, they stopped sending dvds for about a week and a half and to compensate, they sent me about nine extra dvds.

With DVDsOnTap. Get a turanaround of about 2 movies per week. Gave ChoicesErental a go as they have the latest movies but in my first 4 weeks only recieved about 5 movies, though they were the latest titles and always ones at the top of my list I felt their dispatch rate was a bit sloppy.

Pity DVDsOnTap take about 1 month to have the latest titles but I`d rather see more older movies than have 1 new title per week.

Anyone tried the free trial of screenselect? How fast do they dispatch, might be worth trying them out for free and then maybe cancel. Problem is the free trial only lasts a week if they are good for the first week you may stick with them but they may go crap.
