Big Pockets DVD+R cheap but expensive postage and packing warning

The so called bargain DVD blank media isn`t such a bargain after you pay for it and realise a hefty shipping charge has been slapped on.
I bought a trial pack for 4.99 yet the postage on top of this is 5.75. There is no way of checking the total without proceeding the order process
Watch out bagain hunters

The delivery charges are clearly stated in the FAQ section here and yes they are expensive for small/low value items but you can cancel the order once you have the delivery charges shown.

must admite, very pricey for the p&p, but still far cheaper than in the shops and quite a good service. order blank media yesterday morning and received my deleviery this afternoon. quite prompt. did freak me out a little when i opened the package to find one of their lables over the discs stating every type of recordable media (rw/r) and with out a +/-. but they burned and played, so i`m a happy puppy.

I found www.blankdiscshop.co.uk to be priced about the same (if not better) with much better delivery charges (and service).

Also had a problem with an order from Bigpockets that resulted in them taking money for products they couldn`t supply and then taking a month and a lot of phone calls to get the money back. They also lied several times about refunding me so I won`t be using them again.

Whereas I had a problem with an order from blankdiskshop and they sorted it out straight away.

I was tempted to try a dvd+ at 55p but the postage was £5.75. There doesn`t seem to be a way to adjust it.
