who best for new films price etc also im after site which has a good back catalogue?
I thoroughly recommend DVDs on Tap - for £9.99 per month you can have as many as you want - I`ve got it dow to a fine art of getting two a week, one arriving on Wednesday, the next arriving on Saturday :-)
Excellent back catalogue, new releases easy to get, free postage to send back the discs.

I have had this discussion with Clayts before. I used to to be a subscriber to the service and was only getting a one and week turnaround rate when I felt this could be a lot better if they put their minds to it so cancelled. Just make sure you`re list is always full and whatever you do don`t go for the package where P&P isn`t included or it`ll end up costing you a bomb to send them back.

RE: dvd rental online whos best?
I have joined In-Movies. The first two films I ordered arrived very fast indeed. Now awaiting my second lot. If they do not deliver I will cancell m subscription and join another one. Most offer 2 weeks free trial so if you do find their service to be s***e you can always cancel before the 14 days are up.

If it`s a pay as you go service you`re after rather than a regular subscription service you could do a lot worse than www.movietrak.com
£3.25 per disc + 50p p&p per order. Delivery almost always within a couple of days, once or twice the disc has been damaged upon receipt - movietrak have sent a replacement immediately (not waiting for me to return the faulty one). Excellent customer service everytime. Only small problem is that a very small number of new discs take a while to become available - they`ve explained to me that this is due to the horrendous pricing policies of some of the distributors. That said I ordered Catch Me If You Can on Tuesday evening and it arrived today! You have 7 days to watch and return, but if you return immediately you get a free rental for every 6 early returns.

that`s £3.75 per disc, and, you have to return it by a certain date. Baring in mind you can get 8 from DVDsontap, then the same service from Movietrak would cost £30. I think this speaks for itself!

Hence my qualification that if you want an ad hoc service then it`s worth considering movietrak. Why do some of you sad people out there feel that you have a monopoly view on what`s what out there? Go take another bath Mr Mojo!
I use dvdsontap.co.uk for most of my rentals. The £9.99/month deal suits me best. One DVD at a time, post paid returns, as many as you can watch a month.
Can be a bit slow to get the newest releases so I occasionally use Movietrak for one-offs.
Would recommend both. Beet the heck out of driving down to Blockbuster!
RE: dvd rental online whos best?
I`ve been using In-movies and so far so good. Sent me a DVD that was quite badly damaged and unplayable once, but they rectified that fast by sending out a replacement to me. Member for 14 days and received 7 working movies. If they keep this up they will have a long member.
I usually just watch the movie once then return it the next day in order to view more films.
What is the record for anyone who has joined an online rental system for most films rented in one month?
I have been using In Movies for about 18 months now and though I havent used any other retailers to form a basis for comparison, I can gladly say that they are very good and reliable. Whenever I have a disc that doesnt play, I send them an email and almost instantly recieve a response saying that they have sent out another copy. They have been experimenting with their cases and packaging alot recently in an attempt to reduce discs being damaged. I rarely have bad discs from them. Their turnaround rate is pretty good. I usually recieve a movie on day one, watch it and send it back on day two. They recieve it on day three and send out the next disc which I recieve on day four. So basically I only ever have to wait 2 working days for a disc. Of course there have been the odd exceptions that have taken a day or so longer.
