Just placed my first order with DDHOUSE (Hero) and was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea as to there delivery times.

Usually about 7-10 days, they will email you when its been dispatched.

Most of my orders from DDDhouse have taken around 14 days to arrive and require a signature.


Is it me or is this site not secure for credit card orders? Seem to remember it was some time ago.

I placed my first order with them on tuesday last week and on saturday had the email to say the discs have been dispatched and to expect them within 7 days so should be 11 days maximum from Hong Kong so overall not too bad considering how long it takes some Uk suppliers to deliver


My discs turned up today 8 days from date of order quite impressed overall .

I haven`t ordered from ddhouse before and was wondering if anyone here can tell me if I will get a customs charge slapped on an order from DDHouse?

I am looking to spend about fifty quid on anime but before shelling out I wondered what kind of fee I would be looking at.

Also, if any of you have any Hong Kong reg2 anime, can you tell me what the quality is like? I can`t tell how inferior it will be compared to it`s Reg 1/ Reg 2 UK counterparts. I have read in one of the threads that the only problem is the poorly written subtitling.

you may get slapped by customs though ddd seem to be mislabelling the price at the moment.
In the case of the miyazaki dvds they may be superior to the UK releases as they are literal rather than dub or HOH subtitles. Not sure about other anime but dddhouse don`t sell many other titles.
Mind you the postage is only about £2 and the exchange rate is about 14 hk$ to the pound so i justr order individual titles to be on the safe side

i usually order three at a time, and ask them specifically to state that the order is merchandise of $21US value - each dvd being $7US (which it aint ever). usually saves me from any fees (hey i pay enough bloody taxes and any that i can save from being used to buy bullets to kill kids in Iraq, i will!)

I`ll never order from them again. Ordered a title never came!

They never replied to any e-mails or nothing!
