Do CDWOW declare the contents value on The Sopranos boxsets?

Bubblegum (Competent) posted this on Monday, 2nd September 2002, 18:03

Has anyone had Sopranos boxsets from CDWOW?
I am considering ordering, but only if the value is not declared.
I have never ordered anything above £18 with them before so some help is required!

I originally posted in the retailer reviews, but I think it applies more to this

CD WOW have now started printing the value of the contents of their packages just underneath `your address` label.
So beware !!!!

Where can I get this from then where customs are not going to rape me?
I had it on order with dvdsoon, but I cancelled the order due to poor service.
I have just gone through the first and second series, and now I am keen to get series 3 ASAP!

Please advise

Cheers

I have received the season 2 from EZYDVD last week and they write a reduced price on the package so that you don`t pay the custom tax. It was the first time that I used them. The box set came to £29 all together but it is region 4.

CDWOW are grate when it comes to stating price on the packages.
I have ordered about 10 discs from them and all have had the customs friendly price of 14.99£ on the package, regardless of their real cost. Recently I ordered sopranos season 1 and 2 (in separate orders of course) and each arrived with a value of 19.99£ on them (they actually cost 33,99£ each)

So CDWOW get big thumbs up from me. Only bad thing is that they source their discs from Canada and they have a very small selection of DVD`s on offer. However they are very often the cheapest with the discs they do have.
