Page 1 of Google Earth problem :s

Google Earth is p***ing me off... basically, I want to view satellite images only, but what I get instead is a massive load of different coloured boxes and guff that obscure pretty much all of the land, eg...



How do I turn off all the boxes and stuff, so I can just see the land?
It`s driving me crazy!

u just gotta uncheck the boxes in the bottom left panel for the different layers.

It seems the skin I am using does not show the checkboxes so I didn`t even know they were there!

A lot of the guff is in Geographic web. It`s handy if you expand the thread to select a specific subject, but if it`s the whole box, you get what you got.
