Page 1 of antivirus 2009 removal help please!

somehow my daughter`s laptop has been infected with antivirus 2009.


does anyone know the simplest way to remove it?

have googled but so many diiferent approaches and not all worked for them. Had hoped for a simple answer that will not leave me a dead laptop as I`m not too good with computer messing around.

anyone suggest the first thing to try. Will a rollback work to get rid?

well what anti virus software are u using, have u scanned with it and it hasnt been removed??

anti virus software doesn`t typicaly deal with this kind of program (malware/spyware) & the problem is, to get infected with this, the user has actually clicked a pop up, or actually gone to the site & in essence given the program permision to install, thats what makes them hard to shift :(

Just a second thumbs up for the Malwarebytes programme. The AV at work would no / did not detect it, but malwarebytes cleared it after a through disk sweep,
