I unlocked one for The Ogster a while back. You will have to send me the IMEI no. and will generate a code for you.I hope no attempts have been made to unlock it because after 5 it will need a cable unlock. To get the IMEI Key in *#06#.

Hi Mick,Here are the codes: Don`t worry they will only work on your phone.

#pw+809 321 422 670 715+1#
#pw+835 871 357 215 167+2#
#pw+887 511 001 412 400+3#
#pw+423 887 647 045 675+4#
#pw+006 333 524 310 021+5#
#pw+757 730 571 474 725+6#
#pw+227 845 746 475 032+7#

Try the last one 1st.(+7#) It should work,if not Try +1# and then +5# .If you can`t unlock it in 3 attempts leave it and try a cable unlock locally.
Instuctions: Remove sim from phone. To bring up the pw+ symbols you will need to press the * key quickly.Once the p comes up press * again till w comes up,then again till + comes up.Then key in the numbers 227845746475032+7# and you should have a message` Phone restrictions off `on the phone.Job done. Let me know how you get on.

Mick, did you manage to bring up the pw+ on the screen. It takes a bit of practise to get these by repeatedly pressing the * button.Did you get a message saying Code error or similar every time you put the code in? If it needs a cable unlock,I don`t know if you have phone shops in your local market, but they can unlock them for between £3-£5.I am sorry I don`t have the software for cable unlock.(Basically you attach an unlocking cable to the phone and run a software thru a PC)

hi thezafiraman
like you say it took me screw up to get it right, which only left two to go, and yes i got the Code error on all atempts.

don`t worry, i will probably get an unlocked phone off the net, i was just trying to save the added expense, what with xmas and all.

thanks for your time and help, it`s much appriciated.
cheers mick.

Sorry it didn`t work.Have you tried a different sim in the phone because some Virgin phones are not locked. And I am sure a T-mobile sim will work in a Virgin phone without unlocking. Worth a try.

Took your advice and went to a phone shop to have it unlocked, ( Cable Unlock ? ); then saw that "Asda" do a deal on sims, where you can buy a sim card online for £2.48, free delivery, if you put £10 air time on the phone you get the sim free plus another £2 on top so i plumped for it, there tariffs are quite good too, so all in all i`m well pleased.

story over
and thanks again for all your help :D

P/S the cable unlock cost £5.
