Page 1 of Free Video Converter for Ipod

Hi.

I`ve got my daughter an Ipod Nano for Xmas and wondered if there are any free programs to convert video etc? I have used `Super` in the past, but having never had an Ipod, I`ve not used it for that particular application.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tend to use "Videora iPod Converter" which is pretty good.

I personally use DVD Fab Platinum to do them from DVD`s. Couldn`t see how videora could do it - without the help of another ripper. And it couldn`t seem to do it from already ripped DVD`s with files as they should be - it wanted one huge vob file.

The main reason I use the Videora software is that it now makes use of all the CPU cores in the machine. So if you have a Core2Duo chip (or Core2Quad even!) then it converts videos really quickly. I`ve never tried to convert from a DVD, since most of the stuff I watch on it will be TV shows.

Don`t disagree at all mate. But for converting from DVD`s it`s not too good.

Recently found this, which is useful for converting to Ipod format, part of the suite of programs available is a Youtube video converter to ipod format and youtube downloader, etc seems very good so far and is free :D

i also don`t use the TOTALY free programs, because i also love to waste money by using the Super Spam converter, very easy to use & turns any kind of spam into any other kind of spam, spam in, spam out, but we all love spam.....
