Only problem with that is that it`s a `What You Hear` ripper, so you`ll need to play the whole thing to record it. You could try either DVD Audio Ripper or DVD Audio Extractor, which do the same thing but just rip the data directly from the disc to .mp3 format. Still takes a while depending on the length of the track and speed of your drive though. They`re not freeware, but hey...

That DVD Audio Extractor is brilliant! I`ve just downloaded the free 30 day trial so when its up I`ll be lost............! :/

Try here
http://www.dvdripguides.com/
If you follow the first two parts of `How to rip to MPEG 2` you end up with a nice wav file to play around with.

Better late than never :)
i recordered a radio program via my NTL box to my DVD-Har ddrive recorder, and want a CD of the live concert they played, so search for ripping a DVD.
Started my search here, but decided to try the "legal route" before bypassing 10min or 30 day limitations ;)
Just tried that guide at area450, works a treat. May be abit long winded, i.e. you have to use 3 programs, but does the job.
I could have tried getting it from the "listen again" at radio 3s web site, but I thought getting it from NTL Box -> hard drive -> DVD -> PC would be easier, and better quality
I`m sure there`s a better way of doing it :)
Edit; Just realised the guide I linked to is similar to the one Si mentions above, i.e. same software, just tuned for audio.

When your trial runs out this will record, in real time, direct to mp3. It`s freeware and records whatever is going through your soundcard.
Absolute MP3 Recorder
Hope this helps.
