How does 1 get a dvd film and extras of say 7gb onto a standard Dvdrw (4.7 gb)
Or are there bigger Dvdrw`s?
Thank you Please!
Use DVD Shrink
Also, don`t end every thread with thousands of question marks. One will suffice!

Gareth`s right, DVD Shrink is definitely the way to go. One of the best features of the program is the option to uncheck certain soundtracks, subtitles and other extra features. This means that you can get the best possible sound and picture quality for a 4.7gb disc.
Of, course, if you don`t want to compress the film at all, you can get dual-layer rewriters and discs (complete with all their compatibilty problems). IMHO, it wouldn`t be worth the extra expense at this time, though.

Cinema Craft Encoder with about 1,000,000 passes is the way to go.. ;) (6-9 really)

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

That may be. I have CCE .. do you think I can figure out how to use it? NO! DVD Shrink wins hands down in the "useability" stakes.
I dare anyone to see the difference without sitting with their nose pressed up against the screen, or without having a 42" TV :-)

I tried to copy a DVD for back up with DVD Shrink & it wouldn`t copy, it said something like `incorrect file structure` then I tried DVD decrypt & again it stopped after about 5 minutes. What am I doing wrong?
you may be doing nothing wrong. There are a few discs, that, for whatever reason, are un copyable.

DVD Shrink wins hands down in the "useability" stakes. Not arguing there. The quote though was that it gave `the best possible picture`.. etc.
