I want to buy it, to watch my dvd`s from my LG RC68223 player on to my computer. I know that this card has S-video out (TV-out).
My question is: could I connect the dvd-player to the Card on my computer (via S-Video)and then on my Computer screen (LCD-screen) to see the dvd`s. (The card has TV out, not TV in) so I`m wondering. :/

The price is not so high, that is also why I think I want to buy it. :D

No,

that card would let you use your pc as a dvd player so you could watch what is in your PC screen on your TV, so you could watch Divxs on your TV

what you need is a video card with video in, such as an ATI All in Wonder, which has video capture capability, or a seperate video capture card.

No I don`t knwo much about video capture cards. I have a cheap 30 PCI pinnacle TV Rave which lets me watch TV on my PC, by plugging in an aerial, or if I wanted to I could plug a games console/vcr/dvd player into the card as it has a RF connection, and yellow composite input.

The picture isn`t that great, i.e. things look better plugged into the TV than the pc.

I think you`d be better off buying a DVD drive for your PC to watch movies, I can do that and it`s great.
