Page 1 of how do I give notice to 3 when contract ends?

Anyone know what to do when the 12 months contract is up with this company? Can`t find anything on their website.

Can I start the notice period from month 11 and be out at the end of month 12?

Any advice would help.

Yep need something like 28 days notice or somewhat why??? I don`t know but you can do it by phoning up 333 and going through all the options till you get the right one. And I am not sure about 3 but with orange I managed to get them to cancel it that day but it was after the 12months.

You do have to give a months notice, but you can do that at the end of month 11 so your contract ends as soon as your 12 months are up. I just rang 3 and got through to an operator who then put me through to cancellations. They obviously try to persuade you to stay but I found them far less annoyingly persistent than Vodafone were when I cancelled with them.

thanks jacket. So I take it that no written notice is required - just phone them up at the end of month 11.

That`s all I did and come my 12 month date my number went dead. It may be worth your while giving them a call afterwards to ensure that they have registered your cancellation, just to be sure, as their customer service dept is truly inept.

Our 3 contract is up, and we have written to 3 at Hemel, do you think that this will be OK? We have not heard a dickie since we wrote approx a week ago. we asked them to confirm date, so that we can make alternative arrangements. ;)

If I were you I`d ring them to confirm. It doesn`t cost anything through your 3 phone, and it may save you a great deal of hassle.
