Help - anyone with a Nokia 6600

PDK (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 29th January 2004, 11:10

Just got my 6600 and have downloaded a few things. Tried a few applications out and then wanted to delete them. Deleted 2 fine, but have had problems with another two. When trying to remove them from apps manager I get the message "App. Closed ChildInstaller".

When I try to use either apllication I get the message "App.closed AppArdServerTh read?"

Any ideas?

Also, I have found a few MP3 player applications and was wondering which was best.

Any help much appreciated.

You need to do an internet search for a free program called FExplorer.
This will let you access all the files on your phone and memory card so you can delete them manually.

Cheers,

Having no problem finding FExplorer, have downloaded it and thought I had deleted the files. Unfortunatly they are still there as icons on the menu screen.

There are 2 files which could be them but no way of knowing. Does anyone have files [101a3acc] and [10190935] in E:\SYSTEM\APPS

They look like the logical files to get rid of but I don`t want to delete anything else.

Again, any help much appreciated.
