why all of a sudden does my computer respond so slowly

Just recently i have been having problems with all websites that i go on, scrolling down a page takes ages as, when i click to go to the bottom of a page or whatever the page is jerky and stutters all the time.
What do you guys think the problem could be.

Have you checked for the MSBlast or Welchia virus ?

try deleting temp internet files cousin had same prob
