Last week I powered on my HP Pavillion 750 to be greeted with a blue screen bearing the message "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" Technical Information: *** STOP : 0X000000ED. I`ve looked at the HP and Microsoft sites for info and there`s plenty there. However my main concern is to save my digital photographs. My plan is to install another hard drive as a master and use the damaged drive as a slave. Then I hope to copy my photos across to the new `Master` drive. Does anyone out there know if this will work or is there a better option. I really want to save my photos before attempting any drive repair functions.

Looked through all the knowledge base stuff. At the bottom it says you can lose data so wanted to get the photos off the drive first. Thanks for the input anyway.
