PowerDVD 5.0 minimum specs

Are a complete fiddle, yes it runs with a Duron 700, but only half a frame every five seconds. After waiting four days for a reply tech support told me to use a faster processor (yet they quote 350Mhz as minimum spec) . The same machine runs 4.0 XP without a single glitch. Grrhh

Check your CPU usage. If it isn`t redlining all the time you`re trying to read a disc, then there`s something weird going on.

OS is W98SE
I didn`t think to check CPU usage, if I`m feeling strong I might reinstall it and have a look.
Though I get the impression from various places that 1 gig is actually the minimum watchable spec.
