Page 1 of Grokster has inserted a pop on my explorer bar - how do i get rid of it

Grokster has inserted a pop on my explorer bar. I can delete it by clicking on view, explorer bar and then clicking on "pop" but it comes up again when I reopen Internet Explorer - how do i get rid of it.

Also - Do you know how to get rid of all their pain in the arse pop ups?

Easy - don`t use Grokster, use Kazaa Lite instead:

It`s an adware/spyware-free version of Kazaa/Grokster - it works in exactly the same way, but without the unwanted `extras`.

To get rid of the explorer bar addition, and any other nasty diseases that Grokster has given you, you`re best off going to www.lavasoft.de and downloading Ad-Aware.

I would proceed as follows:

1) Uninstall Grokster
2) Install Ad-Aware
3) Run Ad-Aware (and make it delete any crap it finds)
4) Install Kazaa Lite

you could try spybot Search & Destroy or pop over to Net-Integration.net get their HiJackThis.exe
unzip run check and save to notepad. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Post your log on the forum and the experts will go thruough your registry and fix and advise you from there. Good Luck

I`ve been thinking about getting kazaalite. I currently have grokster. Will I have to re-register with a new username, or can i keep the grokster one?
