Rolling Stones take the ****.
I think anyway. £300+ for a ticket at the O2. I`m guessing they would be the pleb seats too.

The band will play London`s O2 Arena on 25 and 29 November and at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on 13 and 15 December.
Reports of a possible tour to mark The Stones`s 50th anniversary had been circulating for a number of years.
Tickets for the UK gigs go on sale on Friday, with the New Jersey tickets on sale next Friday.
Pre-sale tickets for the UK dates are already available with prices ranging from £106 - £406 including ticket fees.

The Rolling Stones have announced their first live shows in five years, including two concerts in Britain, but fans who want a spot right in front of the stage face being charged more than £1,000 for a ticket.Quote:
Not that I`m interested in seeing them but I guess they know they`ll get away with it :(

My parents saw them a few years ago, tickets were over £130 then. I think £70 for a single artist is my limit, and even then it has to be something really special.
I blame all the people who buy tickets to see them! I`d like to see the Stones at some point, but not at that price, it`s just as you say, taking the ****. No way anything they do on stage is worth that.
Do they even need the money???

I`m not sure what my limit would be. We will what Depeche Mode announce on the 23rd of this month and if it pushes me.
Makes Glasto look a positive bargain.

I know its not the same as being there, but at that price, I`m never gonna see them live

I`d said I was going to pay regardless as one chance to see them potentially.
Then the prices came out yesterday £95 are the cheapest, but with travel and accommodation and lack of people who would be willing I just can`t justify it.
All eggs are going in the Glastonbury basket to see them now. Seems there is reasonable chance of it.
Glad air saw Prince last year in Ireland. That was 100 euros a ticket which was expensive, but he did 2.5-3 hours at least.

I hope people stay away in droves. The greedy old bar-stewards are just totally out of touch.
RE: Rolling Stones take the ****.
And possibly even more p1$$ taking than the above...
Heard on the Radio they`ve played their first gig in so many years and (I think) they said it was in France...
Publicised via Twitter no less....
...........and the tickets cost a whopping....................
Twelve Quid!
NOW get them to justify a £300 price tag for the O2.
