wow, there's a  pub near me, a friend and I were in there a while ago, for  a midweek catch up, and they had a  DJ who was playing music, that was all really familiar, yet we didn't know it, as not familiar with funk, soul, motown etc, then it dawned on us, he was playing these tunes that were largely forgotten about but various modern musicians had sampled :)

Becky Hill seems to be one of those pop stars that started off as the singer on other people's records, but now her own stuff seems to be doing well, but it was the feat. Self Esteem which got me interested in hearing this song  as I really her, shame the tickets for Self Esteem in Cabaret were crazy money :(

both ladies have really good voices, and work well together in this song.

I'm hoping is a grower, as so far it's v "meh" :( apart from 1 or 2 songs, sounds generic modern R&B rather than the exciting interesting mix of styles they're "famous" for :(
