Does anyone use their PS2 for DTS output? Is it any good? Currently using a Wharfedale 750 (no DTS) and want to get a 5.1 system for when i go to Uni so thought I would go all out and get a DTS compatible speaker system but therefore will need a DTS player.

Any player for around £100 will perform better than a Playstation.

Richard,
The Wharfedale 750 is DTS. Don`t know why you`re saying it`s not! I believe you may have the very first model of the player without the DTS logo on it. Ignore that fact and link it with the digital cable to a compatible DTS audio system, and you`ll be happy all round!

Yeah it is the first model with no DTS logo. Will enquire around about it but I had no idea it was a DTS player. Cheers for that.
