That's a fair point, as my LG has a number of LG apps that I never bother with and it automatically updated with Disney+ although I have no plans to use it either...

I wish they would just design a TV UI that lets you do the 4 things you only ever want to do (which I admit are probably different for most people, but maybe no more than 4 things) really quickly and hide everything else.

I wonder if there will be an iPhone moment, right now people don't buy TVs for their UIs, it's mainly their size and resolution. :/

Funnily enough I just installed Disney+ last week as I got it free for 6 months. I added it to the main menu and decided where it should appear. (next to my iptv....)
I had to install it and there are no other Apps on the TV that I don't want or force themselves onto me.
