Which players don`t f**k up with RCE protected discs???
I`m very close 2 buyin a Encore but still not convinced that its totaly problem free.
1. Has anyone tested this player 4 RCE compatibility(i.e. tried to play an R1 copy of The Patriot on it)?
2. Does anyone who ordered 1 recently have lip-sync problems with the machine? or do encore do a firmware upgrade 4 u and sort this problem out?
3. I was also thinkin of buyin a Lecson, do these play RCE disks?
Failing all of these, are there any other decent player round the 200 quid mark that are problem free and play RCE disks?

The SCAN SC2000 has apparantly been tested with RCE DVD`s and was OK.
I have just taken delivery of one myself and it seems a nice machine but I have not had the chance to try it with an RCE disc yet.

Manni,
I Have the Matsui DVD110 and the latest Wharfedale 750S and both of them handle RCE no probs.
A colleague also has the previous Wharfedale 750S and its ok too.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Chris

Depend where you get the Encore 450 from - buy direct from Encore is best.
Yes, it passes the RCE test, as long as you set the player to R1 rather than bypass. The lip-sync should be sorted by now, but double check with the guys on 01895 450450. Quality customer service, mate.
