Comet

have prices now, and I read that some Virgin Media stores are doing demos as are Sky. But some ppl say their local ones aren`t so it may be a "road show", or the sets are too expensive to put one in every store.

I haven`t seen one of the new TVs in the flesh yet.

the best buy thread has a link to the new Best Buy stores opening in UK.

Both Samsung & Panasonic are only supplying high street stores and not internet sites with these panels, They look great but cost around £2100.00 !!!!!!!

What`s that based on though?  Many `internet` shops have some sort of high street presence so could get them anyway.?.  Totally restricting it to high street only would severely limit their sales surely?

EDIT: No, they`re already available for pre-order from the likes of Play so can`t be true.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

I run an import business, albeit a small one, and have the opportunity to import and sell these but I am not that "jenned" up on them....
The comment about stores only would seem to go against what I have been told too...
