Can it be done? Has anyone tried it? Be good to know if it can be done. Also has anyone tried out the new DVD region X look-a-like that HMV have released in a pack which includes the remote and scart lead?

you cannot tape dvd`s from a playstation2 it has copy protection it will let you copy to tape games and dvd audio only, we have a datel region x. tonight we have been watching finall fantasy the movie region 1 and it works perfect.. the only thing i can think to remove macrovision is a copy mate from lektropacks and that is about £60.00

yes u can,region 2`s anyway,if u want to tape region 1`s,get ur self a thompson video recorder.
