IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME WITH MY NEW MACHINE. MY DEAR WIFE BOUGHT ME A SCHNEIDER DVD 855 PLAYER FOR CRIMBO. I`VE MANAGED TO MULTI-REGION IT. I`M WAITING FOR MY UP-GRADE CD TO CORRECT THE LIP SYNC. BUT! I NEED TO KNOW WHICH SOUND SYSTEM TO BUY. I HAVE A TOSHIBA T.V. WITH SURROUND SOUND, BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. WOULD THE MUCH TALKED ABOUT BUSH SYSTEM FROM SAFEWAY BE ALRIGHT, OR WOULD IT HAVE TO BE ANOTHER. ALSO, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE 855, OR AM I JUST ABOUT SORTED.

i also recieved the 855 from my wife for christmas. i have to say that now all the problems,eg lip sync are sorted i am more than impressed with the unit. mine runs through a pro logic panasonic tv and sounds good. it does however sound better when through my pioneer pro logi amp. i dont know about the bush but ocasionally they come up with good kit at the right price.
the up grade can be found by going to this address:-

this when typed exactly will ask you to download. do this and then unzip. it will throw three upgrade files. i had trouble getting out the upgrade and had to visit the isobuster site. isobuster is an extracting program like winzip. download and run. using iso buster unzip the largest upgrade file(the second one) this will then uncover a file BANK30.ROM. this is the upgrade file. if you dont have a cdrw save to floppy and find someone who has. i used Nero to send this file to disk(bank30.rom) this is then placed into your dvd player. full instructions for upgrade can be found on readme file on 1st unzip. any probs let me know. sounds complicated but not when you get started.

Well at least now I know that I`m not the only one with this problem !
Unfortunately I can`t seem to get the upgrade - the address you posted appears to be a dead link, so PLEASE tell me where I can get this file
