Page 1 of Toshiba 210 v Pioneer 444
Hardware Forum
Recently purchased the Tosh 210 for £185 -- It is multi-region but not macro disabled as dealer initially said it was. I might have a chance to swap it for e.g. Pioneer 444 plus cash. What do I do?
I need some advice real quick,
All comments appreciated.

RE: HELP !! Do I keep the Toshiba 210 or do I give it back?
If you have component connections on your tv keep the tosh at all costs.

How much extra are you having to pay ?
Upgrade Heaven (http://www.homecinemaheaven.co.uk ) are knocking the multiregion/Macro free 444 for £199

clayts
Not sure how much cash on top the retailers still trying(?) to source a multi-region/macro-off one.
I paid £185 for the 210 (plus I should get 3 free titles).
The other thing is the 444 has macro off but is the machine as good as the 210?

Id love too go with the toshiba BUT noisy drive IMO makes it the worst dvd player so Pioneer gets my vote.
But still dont understand why everyone says get Tosh and use the component connection if its available on the TV, I hear that RGB is just as good anyhow....
But then again RGB connections are limited as it is...
