Page 1 of Info on Toshiba 210e
Hardware Forum
I am considering purchasing a Toshiba 210e DVD player which has been modified to a multiregion player via software. Does anyone know if getting the player chipped would be a better option? Has anyone had any problems with a player modified by software?
Also, the software modification states that RCE is not supported. Is there any workarounds for this particular player?
Lastly, do these players come with the macrovision disabled?
Thanks in advance
Jonno
Software mod and chip mod are just as good ... RCE is not a big problem on this player ....
read this page to see how to work RCE on that player with a simple disk swap

and macro cannot be disabled with software mod

I know the Toshiba 210e is getting all the buzz and awards but id seriously take a look at the new Pioneer model:

230 quid macros off and mutliregional.
Im just waiting for some reviews of it:)
But some people are taking note of this new player.
Slimmer, doesnt make much noise unlike the noisy Toshiba 210, and no mp3 flawed playback. If its picture/sound is just as good, looks like this player will be the new Top Dogg.
