fabryuk (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 31st October 2001, 09:30

I`ve just had email Radio Shack for (Tandy) analogue SPL meter. They are selling it for is £25 for analogue version and £40 for didigtal. Carriage is £6 per parcel, not per item.

Well, anyone of you wants one please email me, as the more I order, we`ll all save more on shipping
I was kind of hoping to bulk buy. Here is the reply form rusk if I bulk buy :

The analogue is 24.99 the digital is 39.99

Email me if anyone is interested.

BTW, is there any difference between analogue and digital version?

Fabryuk

You are breaching the forum rules by offering to trade in your thread.

And in answer to your question, the digital version is better, but only just. Sit in your veiwing position and measure a 70db level from all speakers and be ready for some top notch surround entertainment.
A simple device, yet oh so clever and useful.

and do a product search using "100609-92" - analogue one, 25 Euros - £18 or so. Not sure how much shipping is, though.

I dont feel Fabryuk has done anything wrong, he is not offering anything for sale from himself or trying to make money for himself, he is merely asking if anyone wishes to join him in a purchase where everyone will benefit from a bargain by clubbing together and getting the price down by buying in bulk

well, there is no black or white, and I did not earn a single pence from it. Well Clayt, if you want me to end the thread, I have no problem with it. The reason I am doing this is because I saw thedvdforum a couple of months back doing the same thing and they don`t seem to mind. Anyway, off to thedvdforum now
