I have a Philips tv with Dolby Prologic (apparently). Does this mean that it can decode prologic sound from a DVD player that does NOT sport prologic (eg. SC-2000), or does the player need to have a prologic decoder too?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I`m new to this.

It will decode prologic from any stereo source (DVD, VCR, etc).

I daren`t even get into that debate! If it was me, I`d go for the Tosh 110 (chipped). Oops, I did get into the debate!
