Just wondered how sales of SKY+ were doing and when the inevitable (?) price drop will happen. Don`t mind the extra tenner a month but 300+ smackers is a bit steep for the box, especially when I shelled out £200 for a silver Pace box 6 months ago... Any inside info............?

Hey, all I have been told about sales is that within the first three weeks they had met sales figures for the first two months! This could be a rumour but it is selling very well. We have been told that the price drop will not happen for at least a year but they never told us about the reduction of sky digital until the day it was announced in shops etc.
They have a staff offer whereby we pay £400 for everything and the extra £100 is for a lifetime subscription, however that offer has been withdrawn as they are trying to keep up with demand of the boxes for the public first.
In all honesty I cant see it going down in price very quickly, however you know how sky likes to surprise people ( even those who work for the company ! )
