Toshiba 36ZP18P vs Hitachi C36WF830N vs Panasonic TX-36PG50

Hi Has anyone read the review in What TV and Video (October issue I think), on the 36" Tosh and the Hitachi? What was the conclusion?
These TVs are going for around £1,500
Anybody able to offer any advice on these 3 sets? Looking at the Tosh in their brochure, it looks breath taking,and is really beckoning me!!The picture frame design looks awesome!
Also I understand there is only a cosmetic difference between the Hitachi C36WF830N and the older C36WF810N - is this correct?
I already have a DD amp and speaker package, which means I won`t be taking advantage of this feature in the TVs, which seems like a shame.
Cheapesttvs.co.uk (TVs Direct) are doing the Hitachi for £1,000 Grade A with only a 90 day warranty.
Help much appreciated.

i Have the Toshiba 36zp18p a Great TV The best i have seen i use it just for the picture only and what a Picture it is i got it from Hi Spek for £1700 with 5 years warranty

Just purchased a Hitachi C36WF830N from Eurogold for 1295.00. This is a graded tv but could not find the reason for the down grade apart from the main tv box split.Only problem with remote as wrong one packaged, replacment sent. Televison fantastic, can not coment on sound as i have speakers etc already. Compare prices as this tv is a new model with good reviews. This tv has three months guarantee only, but normally a tv would go wrong within this period if it has a problem. Save money and start hunting..

From what i remember The review gave picture quality to the tosh and sound to Hitachi. I to have gone for separates for sound and i went for the toshiba 36ZP18 tv.
It really is a great tv and at only £1498 its also a bargain. I really recommend this set. hth

I ordered a Toshiba, over the phone, but when I went out and into Currys, I saw some 40" Rear Projection widescreen sets - which i loved,and they are the same price...I wondering whether to cancel the order and change to rear projection?
I have to say - the Tosh, didn`t look as good as it did in the pictures and Toshiba`s brochure - very clever photography....

Where did you see the Toshiba 36ZP18P for around £1500, the cheapest I have seen it is in empire direct for £1700.
