Page 1 of Wharfy 750 region 2 reset

I know this should be in a hack forum, but what with the RCE developments....

Anyone know how to factory reset it to Region 2???

Apparently, the manual region select can also be used to set the player to Region 1.

Although as yet there is no news on whether there is a `count` on how many times this setting can be changed.

Wharfedale DVD-750
1. Open the tray.
2. Insert region 1 disc. Do not close the tray.
3. Press 0,1,2,3 on the remote.
4. Press Play.
Your player is now region free. To return it to region 2 only do the following:
1. Open the tray.
2. Insert region 2 disc. Do not close the tray.
3. Press Return on the remote.
4. Press Play on the remote.
I haven`t tried it, but I`ve filed it away for future reference in case RCE ever gets to R2!

thanks for the reply, apparently some people have had some trouble getting it to work though...

Also, a guy on DVDTimes forum says he got the Patriot to play on his 750 no problems...

Any other wharfy guys out there got/ordered the patriot? need to find out the truth here, I`m getting so confused by these conflicting reports!!!
