only had my proline 2000 2 months but it`s really getting on my nerves, i mean, ok it was only 120 sovs but everytime i put a dvd in i have to turn off subtitles and now to my utter dismay it`s flashing a patchy green fuzz on all my dvd`s, anyone else had these probs?

When the green fuzz usually happens, all you have to do is turn off the player and reconnect your scart lead in the back and it will be fine. It seems to happen if you disconnect the scart lead when it is on and put it back in again.

I hope this helps.

I`ve had the subtitle problem on the latest firmware (005) of the grundig 520 which Im told is a clone of the proline 2000. It seems to happen on various discs - the movie plays but I have to turn the subtitles off manually. It`s happened to me on `8mm`, `Crouching tiger...`, and a couple of other discs I can`t remember.
