DVD label printer advice

Can anyone tell me if there is a printer that prints DVD and CD labels by inserting the Blank disc or recorded disc into the printer without having to print the labels seperately. Thank you

hi i am assuming you mean print straight onto the disk. i have an epson photo stylus R200 which prints straight onto the disc (dvd or cd ) .the discs have to be printable type discs cause if you try to print on a non printable disc the ink never dries ( yes we tried it out of curiousity )i would not advise printing labels and then sticking them to discs as i have had one or two come off inside the players.hope this helps.

i also have had an r300 for over 12 months, super printer & REALLY cheap compatable ink.

another reason for printing directly to disc is that stick on labels can over a couple of months contract a little bit, this ruins the dvd & it has to be binned, i warned a mate of mine about this & he ignored me, 12 months later he had to "re-source" nearly 100 movies ;) (& the cheep labels almost always do this) the expensive "proper" stick on`s are usualy fine, ie neato, press it (originals) but at around £15 for 25/30 it`s cheaper to buy the r200/300 or similar :D
